Man risks his own life to save a thousand dogs from the Chinese Meat Festival

American Marc Ching, founder of the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, and his girlfriend saved a thousand dogs that would be eaten during the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. The event takes place every year in Guangxi province, China.

Ching pretended to be a buyer of the festival and rescued a thousand dogs that would be cooked. "Every year, a lot of people protest but nothing ever happens. I went there and simply "ended up" with these slaughterhouses, "he said.

Best of all, the activist and his girlfriend were able to transport all the animals to the United States, where they are now being treated very well.
