Pit Bull was abandoned and taken to shelter with high sacrifice rate. He is running out of time.

We judge shelters that have a high rate of animal sacrifice, after all nobody wants to see or know that countless bigeyes lose their lives in places that should be protective. But is it just the fault of the shelters? We also have a part of the blame! If there were not so many abandonments, maltreatment and negligence with canines, it would not be necessary for most of the animals to be in these institutions

Stopping the growing number is a difficult but not impossible task! The overcrowding of shelters, breaches the guarantee of appropriate treatment for all animals. The question that arises is: Put the animals to sleep or let them live in inhumane conditions?

It's too hard to decide, is not it? So let's just raise awareness of as many people as possible so that no one else ever has to make that decision.

Life in shelters of high sacrifice rate is not easy. The Carson animal shelter is one of those. Due to overcrowding, they are required to put some animals to sleep and there are no exceptions. In other words, if an animal has been in the shelter for some time and has not yet been adopted, they immediately take it to the "death row" where it spends its last days alive.

This Pit Bull knows everything about being abandoned by a heartless owner, who does not want to know about his well-being, nor does he take into account years of loyalty. He just sat and waited for someone to give him another chance to be happy again. Unfortunately, his only refuge now is a toy. The Pit Bull sleeps on the concrete, crying all night, waiting for the end of his life to come.
The canine has no name or history, it's only on a Patharbor list:
"I am a Pit Bull Terrier, white and brown. At the shelter they think I'm about 4 years old. I've been at the shelter since August 27, 2016
The sad reality is that Carson is the place where abandoned and stray animals will stop for a day later to be put to sleep. Carson has been struggling with the high occupancy rate that leaves them with no solution other than euthanasia. The big question is that this puppy still remains alive after a month in Carson, which can be considered an eternity.

The team appeals to people to adopt shelter animals and kennels. No one wants to have to put an animal to sleep just because they no longer have the conditions to keep it alive. Conscientializing people for adoption instead of buying and to stop quitting bigeye, is now the only thing left for us, lovers of puppies
Share with your friends and family. Help fight neglect and euthanasia and promote adoption!
